Add a Commenta joy to watch. never mind zack effron and his huge ego (no one talks about him now, do they?) funny, entertaining, great music. tracey was fabulous with an amazing voice. john travolta as a woman? kinda grossed out at first, considering how hot he is in real life, but he actually did an amazing job. big and cuddly.
luv it ................
The movie didn't include all the songs from the original musical in which is too bad. Wonderful wonderful performances of John Travolta as Edna and seductive sexy performance of Michelle Pfeiffer as Velma Von Tussle. I still think the original Broadway show is better.
luv da muziq n da grate cazt in it
lots of lively tunes! Well done - John Travolta as a women? He pulled it off very well!
Stick with John Waters' version. Ricky Lake made a better Tracy Turnblad and Divine outshone Travolta as Tracy's mother. I say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
A musical you'll want to watch over and over again!
An OK film, fairly well done, though it did get boring and almost abnocious at points. I guess the biggest reason that I was interested in it is that it was filmed less that a block from my house, but I guess it was pretty good film.
Not good, not bad.
Skip it. I never thought the original was any good and that's simply because, as a musical, the songs should be good - they were not. The story is tiresome as well.
